Strawberry Tree Gardens

The collaboration between Rocky Martin and Mario Layne Fabrizio strives to eliminate all harmful matter from your’ soil, including plastic tarps, plastic netting, metals, paint chips, garbage, and plastic fertilizer pellets. This creates a fertile space for plants to thrive, and allows any food plants and herbs grown to optimize the human body and all animal life that interact with the garden. We tediously clear, arrange, and recycle the plastics and waste materials accordingly. We do not use motors or any excess material to work your garden to life. Your yard trimmings are made into compost piles, placed where your land would best use and break down the plant matter. We mix the parts thoroughly with existing soil and water the compost pile to ensure breakdown, later using the finished compost to remediate the soil and protect plants from draught.

We arrange your garden by color, utilizing my painter’s eyes to choose aesthetically appropriate companion plants for your garden. We utilize professional pruning, weeding down to the roots, transplanting, removing, leveling, and soil remediation/ mulch and soil conditioner as requested. We ensure your garden smells fresh, adding aromatic additions like thyme, rosemary, sage, lavender, nasturtium, etc. to create a biodiverse edible and ornamental array of what grows best in the Pacific Northwest. We place all plants in their most opportune spaces for the level of sun or shade needed. We guarantee that your vision for your garden will come to fruition, collaborating with you every step of the way to ensure your garden looks, smells, feels, and tastes like home.

Our signature no-waste/ hazardous material removal, aromatic edible additions, color aesthetic arranging, and thorough watering and composting soil remediation strategies set us aside from any competition. Contact Strawberry Tree Gardens today for a FREE visit and consultation at:

“Part of the story here is that when arriving to Seattle, I worked immediately as a self-employed gardener having over 30 clients in the first year. It helped me connect to the land and to myself in a state of much transition. Because I lived for a while in Cambridge, MA, I learned to garden from master gardener, Ruth Lepson who had an extensive garden that I tended.”- MARIO LAYNE FABRIZIO

“As a retired 79 year old senior citizen time is very important to me. The first thing that impressed me about this young man and his assistant was thier punctuality. Although I've been gardening for 70 years I've never bothered learning the Latin names of the plants, but Mario knew them. In fact, he knew what area of the garden the plant would flourish when planted. Mario encouraged me to add certain things to the flower beds which were all beneficial. Mario is an exceptionally hard worker, you couldn't ask for anyone better. He was kind to my inquiring puppy who only wanted to play.”
